You Xin leaned against the rough stone wall and gasped for breath. The camouflage on his face was in a mess. It was gray and covered with dark and light patches. His face was as pale as a thin piece of paper.
"Did you hit the knee?" Ethan Yang half-crouched and stepped back cautiously. After making sure that this place was safe for the time being, he turned around to check the wound on You Xin's calf.
"No..." You Xin said gritting her teeth, while lowering her head to find the first aid kit.
A few minutes ago, her calf was hit by a bullet, and she staggered and fell to the ground. If Ethan Yang had not quickly grabbed her arm and dragged her up, she would have died in this desolate place in the wilderness.
