The bar looks completely different in the daytime than at night. The windows are half-open, the air conditioner is just turned on, and the room is still a little hot. The sunlight shines directly in, and the old wooden tables and chairs are slightly shiny.
Liam Tang walked through the first floor and went around to the stairs leading to the second floor. He looked up and heard the sound of footsteps. He stepped onto the stairs and the wooden staircase made a dull sound.
As soon as he got to the second floor, he saw Ethan Yang. There weren't many people in the billiard room in the afternoon. There were only six or seven people around a table near the window. One of them was holding a billiard cue, hunched over, and aiming at the billiard ball on the table. The others were watching the fun with laughter and chatter.
Ethan Yang leaned against the windowsill, holding the pool cue in one hand and looking at the pool table silently. He noticed someone coming up the stairs, thinking it was a guest, and subconsciously looked up, but he saw Liam Tang.
The boy who appeared at the corner of the stairs looked out of place in the entire billiard hall, like an underage boy who suddenly mixed into an adult party. Ethan Yang frowned slightly and looked at Liam Tang with a slightly gloomy look.
