Seeing Ethan Yang enter her son's room, Grace Tang's mind was no longer on the TV series, and she kept looking at the closed door. Seeing that Ethan Yang was still not coming out, she took the remote control and turned down the volume of the TV, trying to hear the movement in the room, but she couldn't hear anything after listening for a long time.
Grace Tang put the remote control on the table, cracking melon seeds with a crackling sound, threw the melon seed shells in his hand into the trash can at his feet, swatted the crumbs in his hand, put the bag of melon seeds on his lap aside, and prepared to get closer to listen carefully. But just as he was about to raise his head, the door was opened, and Ethan Yang stepped out.
Grace Tang had no choice but to sit back as if nothing had happened, pretending to be watching TV seriously. When Ethan Yang returned to her room, as soon as the door closed, she immediately got up and went to Liam Tang's room, without knocking, she turned the doorknob and pushed the door open and walked in.
Liam Tang was still lying on the bed in the same position with his face buried in the pillow. When he heard the door being pushed open, he thought it was Ethan Yang who had come back. He looked back with a little surprise, but saw Grace Tang with a long face.
"Why aren't you studying in broad daylight, lying on your bed hatching chicks?" Grace Tang asked directly, accusingly, "Why did he come to see you?"
