Rogge 318 is not the only air crash that has no result.
In 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 mysteriously disappeared in the Indian Ocean. Four years later, no complete wreckage of the aircraft was found. The authorities announced that they would no longer salvage the aircraft and suspend the investigation. However, even though no useful aircraft wreckage was found, the investigation team conducted a four-year investigation and published two investigation reports.
One is a 584-page mid-term investigation report released in 2015.
One is the final investigation report released in 2018, which is 822 pages long.
After Rogge 318 announced the suspension of the investigation, Ethan Fu had wondered why the investigation team had not published any investigation report for three and a half years. Now, he finally knew the answer.
