The shouting and screaming outside were getting closer and closer, so Leo had to rush back to his room.

The sky was full of fireballs, whistling into the city. It seemed that the Qin army had really broken into the city. Once the city was broken, the army would massacre the city. Leo had seen the chaotic scene before. He had to find a way to move as soon as possible.

Leo went in and shook the new protector Blake, who could neither move nor speak, but Blake had already woken up and just looked at Leo.

Leo: "I'll think of a way to get you out of the city first and wait here."

This was nonsense. Blake could not move and was just wrapped in a quilt. Leo thought that he could not run away with Blake on his back. He was about to find a horse, but he was afraid that the soldiers would rush in to rob and kill him, so he carried Blake down from the couch, wrapped him in the quilt, and stuffed him under the bed to avoid being discovered.

"Don't worry." Leo explained: "I have Jupiter in my life. No matter what happens to me when I grow up, I can overcome the danger." Then he went out to find a horse.

Leo left the backyard and found the stable empty. All the war horses had been ridden away, so he had to go out to look for them.

The streets were full of charred civilians, soldiers and horses were wreaking havoc everywhere, the Jin army and the Qin army were fighting fiercely, and kerosene cans were constantly thrown into the city from outside, setting fire to anything they hit.

"What a nice smell!" Leo's stomach growled when he smelled the burnt meat.

He couldn't find a horse, but he did find a cart. Leo put the cart in the backyard, but couldn't fit it in, so he had to carry Blake out first. So he ran back to the room, and when he was dragging Blake out from under the bed, he suddenly heard the door outside the governor's mansion being slammed open, and then the Qin army rushed in!

Leo's mind raced, and he immediately stuffed Blake back under the bed, overturned the shelves in the room, threw pillows and clothes all over the floor, pulled down the curtain, threw it over the beam, tied a knot, pulled over a chair and stood on it, put his arms into the sling, tied them under his armpits, and kicked the chair away.

As soon as the chair landed, two Qin soldiers rushed in.

Leo hung on the beam, staring at the soldier with his eyes wide open. In the dark, the soldier couldn't see where the rope was tied, but saw people hanging everywhere. He cursed and looked around, guessing that someone had looted the place, so he kicked over the table and left.

As soon as the Qin army left, Leo hurried down and dragged Blake out. However, just when he was halfway through, another group of Qin soldiers rushed in from the backyard. Leo had to quickly hoist him up again. After the second group of soldiers rushed in, they looked around and left.

Item: ...

Leo hung him up for about an hour, and when he was sure that no one was coming, he quickly untied him. He carried Blake on his shoulders and ran to the backyard, panting.

The cart was gone, but there was a warhorse that came from nowhere. It looked like a Qin horse, and the stirrup was dragging the body of a Qin soldier who had been shot by an arrow.

"Great!" Leo pushed Blake onto the horse's back and said, "We can definitely escape!"

But Leo forgot one thing, he was lucky, but Blake's luck was average.

After Leo got on the horse, he carried Blake, who was wrapped in a quilt, and rushed out of the alley and came to the side street. He saw rockets and fire pots all over the sky, as if a brazier had been overturned by the sky. In an instant, Xiangyang City had become a sea of   fire and purgatory.

The warhorse neighed and galloped wildly along the way. Just as Leo was about to turn around and say something to Xiang, he suddenly realized that the man was gone!

"Hurry! Hurry!" Leo immediately reined in his horse and said, "Oops! We've fallen off the road!"

Leo turned his horse around and hurried back to look for him along the road. He saw Blake lying straight on the ground at the intersection of the alley and the main street. When the quilt fell off, it was half lifted. Fortunately, he was found and had to be tied to the horse's back. Find a rope, there is one in the saddle! The Qin soldiers' saddles are fully equipped.

Leo wrapped Blake in a blanket on the main street and tied him up with a rope. He struggled to put Blake on the horse's back and tied him up with a rope. When he was tying him up, a group of Jin soldiers rode past and shouted, "What are you doing? Are you trying to rob a woman?"

"It's a man!" Leo said quickly, "My father has been paralyzed for many years!" He quickly grabbed Blake's hair and showed him. The Jin soldiers were about to draw their bows and shoot him, but when they saw it was a man, they put down their arrows and shouted, "Run to the southeast! Don't go north! The governor's mansion has been robbed! The north is full of Qin troops!"

Leo said: "Be careful!"

The Jin army went far away. Leo was afraid that Blake would fall off again, so he tied the rope tightly around the horse's back twice and made a knot. Now he was sure that Blake would not fall off again. He wiped the sweat off his forehead and was about to mount the horse when a stray arrow flew in from nowhere and got stuck in the horse's bu.tt.

The warhorse suddenly let out a long neigh, broke into a gallop, and rushed back to the north.

"Hey! Hey! Come back!" Leo hurriedly chased out, but the warhorse started galloping and Blake was out of sight, disappearing in the sea of   fire in an instant.

Leo: ...

Leo looked around and saw that the Jin army was rushing to the north of the city in an endless stream. They came out in full force and engaged the Qin army in a fierce battle. They were already bloodthirsty. Fortunately, they had been tossed around by Leo at dusk. Although they had dispersed, they were still awake. Otherwise, if the Qin army attacked the city, the city would definitely not respond so quickly.

Everyone in the city, young or old, military or civilian, knew that once Xiangyang was captured, the whole city would be massacred and no one would survive, so they all fought with their lives.

Leo ran along the road for nearly a mile. There was flames everywhere, houses on both sides were burning, and the roadside was littered with dead bodies.

"Where's the horse?!" Leo roared, "Where did it go? Come back here!"

It was dawn, it was a cloudy day, the city was on fire, the sky was covered with black smoke, Leo was choked and coughed and cried, he ran through the barricades on the long street. He had reached the front line of the battle between the Qin and Jin armies, and suddenly a cavalryman spotted him, rode his horse and rushed towards Leo, waving his gun and sweeping him.

Leo yelled immediately and lay down on the ground with his head in his hands. The cavalryman's swing missed and when he turned back in confusion, the galloping horse suddenly carried him at high speed and crashed into a clothesline outside a residential building. The cavalryman was immediately hung down and hit the ground with the back of his head hitting the ground. He was bleeding from all seven orifices and twitching continuously.

Great! Leo thought, and ran over to pick up the man's weapon, but heard the sound of horse hooves from far behind him. Leo quickly lay down on the ground and got under the dead cavalryman.

After the Qin cavalry came in, they were fighting for the stronghold in Xiangyang City, preparing to engage in street fighting with the Jin army led by Liangzhou Governor Graham. No one noticed Leo.

Another wave of Qin troops passed by. Leo knew that if he went to look for someone like this, he would be sending his head to the enemy, so he dragged the cavalryman's body into a civilian house, stripped him of his armor and inner clothes and put them on. At that time, the north had experienced the Eight Kings Rebellion. After the Jin court moved south, Liu Cong's Han, Shi Le's Zhao, Xianbei Murong's Yan, and even Ran Min's Wei, and now Marcus's Qin, one after another, established a country, and the mixed blood of Hu and Han led to many Han people in the Qin army. After Leo changed into the Qin soldier's armor, he did not look very abrupt, except that the helmet and armor were a little big.

Leo hurriedly fastened his helmet and ran exhaustedly to the north, looking for the lone warhorse and the whereabouts of Blake. When he ran past the Zhaoming Terrace in the center of the city, he was suddenly stopped by a Qin army captain.

"Hey!" the Qin army captain shouted, "Which team are you from?!"

"Me?" Leo asked, "Me?"

Leo spoke in an elegant official language, so the captain thought he was from the Chang'an guards and shouted, "Why are you in such a hurry? Go to the northwest!"

"I'm on my way!" Leo said, "Give me a horse!"

"No!" The captain stuffed a shield into Leo's hands, and Leo had no choice but to hold it. The captain pushed him again and shouted, "Go west after Zhaoming Terrace and escort the tanker! The entire Jin army is out! Push the car to the Drum Tower! Be careful!"

Leo had no choice but to quickly catch up with the cart in front. The two horses kept jumping on the spot and neighing in fear. Two Qin soldiers were trying to calm the horses. The captain pushed from behind and shouted, "Go! Go!"

A whistle was heard from high up in the distance, and millions of rockets were fired from the Governor's Mansion in the center of the city, raining down on people's heads like fire!

Leo was about to take a horse away, and ran over with a shield on his head. The captain shouted, "Get on the car! Get on the car---! Leave me alone!"

Leo jumped into the car, and rockets rained down like a flood. The captain was hit by several arrows and was immediately on fire. He shouted in pain: "Help! Help!"

Leo had no choice but to turn around and put out the flames on him, but the captain turned the can on the car backwards, which was full of kerosene, and poured it on himself. He caught fire with a bang and screamed in the flames. The two soldiers saw that it was terrible and hurried back to rescue him. Leo hurriedly shouted: "It's too late to save him! Don't go!"

Fires broke out everywhere. Leo hurriedly got on the car and tried to tow the cart of fire pots away. However, just as he sat in the driver's seat, flames started to spread up from the back of the car. The two horses pulling the cart were frightened and no longer obeyed orders. They rushed out, dragging the cart of burning fire pots and carrying Leo, the driver!

Leo shouted: "North!"

Leo turned the reins, trying his best to control the galloping horses in the trailer to change direction from west to north, and immediately rushed through the front line of the battle between the Qin and Jin armies, with flames blazing, and rushed into the rear camp of the Qin army with great fanfare.

"Where's Blake?!" Leo glanced back in dismay, watching the fire pots spurting out flames one after another. The scene was truly spectacular. There were surprisingly few people along the way. As soon as they rushed past the wall of fire, a small group of cavalrymen shouted in panic: "What are you doing?! Where are you from! Stop! Stop now!"

"I want to stop too!" Leo turned around and shouted, "You don't obey me!"

Leo looked for the lost horse, but unexpectedly, the flaming chariot had already rushed onto the main street. The patrolling cavalrymen on all sides were immediately scared out of their wits and chased Leo. However, no matter how hard the cavalrymen and horses tried to urge them, their speed was limited. The chariot horse that Leo was driving had its bu.tt burned, so it started running wildly, exerting its potential as a horse. It was so hot that no one could catch up with it. It ran through the long street like lightning and rushed back to the governor's mansion in the north.

Three hours ago, after the Qin army broke through the inner city of Xiangyang, they used the governor's mansion as their first temporary base. They were using it as a command post, transporting kerosene tanks and arrows, gathering troops, and launching street fighting. As long as the defense line was advanced in an orderly manner, it would be no problem to capture the entire Xiangyang within three days. At that time, a group of Qin generals and military advisors were discussing combat deployment in the mansion.

"Has Shulükong's whereabouts not been found yet?"

"...it must be in Xiangyang City..."

"Attack the camp! Attack the camp!"

It was their bad luck. Among them, Prince of Changle Owen, General Nolan, and General Carter were reading a map at the table, while the counselors argued over whether to burn Xiangyang or to capture the thief. Before the chevaux de frise could be set up, the battle line had already advanced to the Zhaoming Terrace in the center of the city. Most of the guards who stayed behind were like mad dogs, rushing to the south of the city to grab heads and make merit. Who could have thought that the camp would be attacked by the enemy at this time?

"How dare you!"

Owen shouted angrily and raised his sword to fight! The three commanders, including Nolan and Carter, were all brave generals who could defeat a hundred enemies at once. Individual assassins were no problem at all. Who dared to attack the camp? It was simply stupid!

Nolan asked: "Where are the enemies?"

"At the door!" shouted the messenger.

As soon as he finished speaking, Leo said, "Get out of the way! The kerosene is coming!"

The next moment, the flaming chariot roared into the mansion. Nolan just rushed out of the door and met Leo. He thought something was wrong and turned around to run for his life. Leo didn't care who he bumped into. He jumped into the pond outside the yard, broke through the thin ice and hid in the water.

Before Owen could fight back, he was knocked down by the carriage. The wheels of the carriage tripped on the threshold and the entire carriage of burning kerosene cans flew into the hall.

Leo rolled and crawled, not daring to look back. He turned around in the explosion and stumbled out. Suddenly, the whole house was in flames. There were panic shouts from inside. Only a few people ran out. The roof collapsed. All the cavalry retreated to rescue people.

"The Qin army's camp was burned!"

The Jin army saw the scene from afar in front of Zhaoming Terrace, and their morale was boosted. Graham gathered the last 8,000 men and rushed out along the main street. Leo took off his helmet, a little overwhelmed, watching the scene in front of him. The Qin army was defeated and retreated step by step. The lost Zhaoming Terrace, the main street, the Lutai Road in the north of the city, and all the streets and alleys were recaptured by the Jin army fearlessly.

"Where are the people?!" Leo was almost losing his patience. He threw his helmet to the ground and looked around blankly.

The black smoke billowed, covering the sky and the sun, and had already blackened his face. Leo suddenly had an idea, closed his eyes, and stood quietly. In an instant, everything was silent, the sound of war faded away without warning, and there seemed to be a flash of light in the darkness.

Another flash.

In silence, Leo suddenly turned around, stepped on the blood on the ground, quickly turned into the alley, passed through the backyard of a residential house, and found his warhorse! At that time, the horse was carrying Blake, who was tied up tightly, and was stuck on the gate of the courtyard, carrying Blake sideways and banging against the walls on both sides.
