There were only fifteen students in the school, most of whom were here to take part in the county exams. There were few students who were educated, and they all came to school early on their own initiative. Mr. Lin collected the homework absentmindedly, made a few comments, and when everyone was present, he called on them to recite the lessons one by one.

Ryan Cui started reading "Book of Songs" after entering the private school. He was considered a half-disciple of Mr. Lin and was also a wealthy man. Mr. Lin treated him more kindly than other students. When the only three elementary school students had memorized "Three Character Classic", he asked him to come forward and recite it.

For some reason, every time he stood up to recite or explain the book, a few students would quietly look up at him, and some would shake their heads and imitate his lip movements. If these people had not been very well behaved after class, and except for showing off their poems in front of him sometimes, they would not dare to say or move much, he would have almost thought they were trying to bully him.

But then again, is it considered cold violence to show off one's poetry and prose skills in front of poor students every day?

Mr. Lin pointed to the poem "Nan You Jia Yu" that he had talked about yesterday. Before reciting the poem, Ryan Cui subconsciously turned his head to look at the people. When their eyes met, the teenage scholar turned his head away in panic, as if he had been caught cheating, and his face and neck turned red.
