It is more than a thousand miles from Jinan to Yangzhou. Blake Harrison did not stop along the way. He set out on July 8th and arrived in Yangzhou on July 11th. Yangzhou still had the familiar scenery, with misty towers and prosperous splendor.

Ethan Bennett looked out the window. Yangzhou City was ten miles long with hundreds of clear streams and the city was still bustling with activity. He turned to look at the pale-faced Blake Harrison. For some reason, he suddenly felt sad.
Perhaps he shouldn't have stepped into the quagmire again. The truth might not be something he could bear calmly, but ever since Mu Yunshen's words, he was destined to never stay out of it again. No matter how bad the ending was, he had to see it with his own eyes.
Blake Harrison had always disliked Changshan, and because Ethan Bennett had been accompanying them all the way, Blake Harrison had often ridiculed him and asked him to stay away. When the carriage arrived in front of the Jiang Mansion, Changshan already had an unhappy look on his face when he got off to greet them.
