There was heavy rain in Yangzhou in early April. Ethan Bennett was awakened by the heavy rain. He stared blankly at the mountains and fields outside the villa, not knowing where he was for a moment.
But he was soon awakened by the piercing pain. It was daybreak and it had been raining for a while. He was soaked and the dried blood on his body began to spread again. Someone sympathized with him, but his broken medicine box and luggage that had been packed long ago were also thrown out.
Ethan Bennett tried to prop himself up, but the sharp pain in his spine instantly crushed him. His legs had no strength at all, so he couldn't even crawl a few steps, let alone stand up.
The wounds all over his body could only be soaked by the rain. Ethan Bennett felt that all the life and hope in him were slowly drained out of his body along with the wounds, rain and blood.
He should be dying soon, but unfortunately, he cannot remain innocent and has to die in such a dirty way.
