However, Hazel and Jinxi followed Madam Xu back to Guxiangtang, and then they went to the east room to have lunch together.
Most of the dishes on the table were Hazel's favorites, including sea cucumber and goose feet, white jade crab, lotus seed and eight-treasure duck, a total of seven or eight dishes.
There are also some of Jinxi’s favorites, such as tofu skin chicken buns and vinegar-fried duck kidneys.
Mrs. Xu smiled and kept putting food into Hazel's bowl, but Hazel said impatiently, "Why is the duck so fat today? Don't put any more food into it for me."
Mrs. Xu knew that she was in a bad mood, so she paused and sighed.
