She asked Serena to wait for her outside and followed the old woman into the yard.

There were several tall and straight kapok trees planted in the yard. Even though it was autumn, they were still strangely blooming with white-stamen and pale purple-red flowers. The green building and the yellow glazed corners and eaves were vaguely visible among the branches, which was an indescribable mystery.

The woman led her to the front of the building and stopped moving forward. A pretty boy in green clothes came out of the building to greet her.
