The wound on Wells HE's body looked scary, but it was not serious. The debris from the front of the car tore open a piece of flesh on his back. The wound was neither too big nor too small, and the length could be covered by a palm. It was neither too deep nor too shallow, just the right depth for bleeding. After more than a dozen stitches, Wells HE was discharged from the hospital. The next day, he put on a fine and straight suit as usual and went to the company in a dignified and elegant manner.
When he was nearly halfway through the journey, he stopped at a red light. He turned on his cell phone which had been off all night. When the red light's life entered the ten-second countdown, his cell phone rang. He glanced and saw it was Xiao Shu, so he took out his Bluetooth headset, put it on, and answered the call.
"Where are you?"
Xiao Shu was panting as if he had just finished a morning run, and his tone was anxious, cutting out the beginning and end, omitting unnecessary prefixes and getting straight to the point.
Wells HE glanced at the call display again and it was indeed Xiao Shu.
