Wu Yaowen walked out of Tianwailouju Tea House and stood on the sidewalk, in the rush of people. Under the scorching sun, he looked like a weathered stone sculpture, with dark skin and a yellowish face. His gray eyes were like two stones embedded in the cracked black soil, and his whole body was filled with solid and invincible strength.
He stood on the sidewalk, beads of sweat rolling down his forehead, covering his face, making him feel sore in the corners of his eyes, and flowing down to his dry and white lips. Passers-by looked at him as if he were a beggar or someone with Alzheimer's disease, then walked past him in a hurry.
He licked his rough, cracked lips, wiped the sweat off his face with his hands like a migrant worker, his eyes moved slightly, and he walked towards a black Haval parked on the side of the road.
He came to the car window and knocked on the pitch-black window. In an instant, the window slowly lowered to half its height, and the man sitting in the driver's seat revealed the upper half of his face wearing sunglasses.
Wu Yaowen looked at the cold, dark sunglasses, bowed his head and said humbly, "I am Wu Xiaoshuang's father. I'm looking for Mr. Jiang."
