After not seeing each other for more than ten years, Wells HE did not feel strange at all when he saw this person again. It was just like the first time he met him when he was a child. Wells HE looked at his face, which was illuminated by the light, calmly, as if he was looking at himself in the mirror.
It was not until today that Wells HE understood where his familiarity with him came from and why he was always so easy to trust him. When he was young, he was ignorant and stubborn, and he could not think clearly. Now they are all grown up. Wells HE realized that he had never regarded He Qing as a "person" with flesh and blood, with his own body and soul. He had always regarded He Qing as a shadow that was born from himself. Even if He Qing was standing in front of him now, he still did not regard him as a living person, as if the person standing in front of him was a ghost, a ghost that had been playing pranks since childhood.
He suddenly had a hunch that he regarded He Qing as a shadow, and He Qing must have regarded him as a shadow as well. At this point, Wells HE had to admit that he and He Qing were close in soul, always repelling and attracting each other, a familiarity and closeness that only existed between blood relatives. It was as if they had never been apart, and had always been firmly locked by the same strong bond, one end was him, the other end was He Qing. This bond may have existed since they were conceived together in their mother's womb, making the connection between them far different from that of ordinary people, close and intimate.
So Wells HE didn't reject or resist him, he just hated him.
