In the end, Adam still did not sign the divorce agreement. Even though Mason Gu had said so much, he still chose to hold on, because now he only had this marriage certificate left.

Mason Gu didn't think that it would be settled just by talking this once. He had already prepared himself mentally for a long battle, so after he made his position clear, he left with the divorce agreement.
"This is the first version of the divorce agreement. It's the same as the one I gave you half a year ago. I think it's a very fair agreement.
