When a truly national crime occurs, they often have one common feature - during the investigation stage, the case seems to not exist; during the trial stage, the people involved in the case who are taken away for evidence collection seem to have suddenly disappeared; and after the case is closed, the previous investigation and trial seem to have never existed.
