After playing around late the night before, Violet got out of the lake and yawned as she went to bed. She thought they would both sleep well, but she heard rustling noises at dawn. It must be because she was trying to suppress the noises, so they were very subtle. But Violet had to try drugs every day recently, and her sleep quality had dropped dramatically. Even the slightest sound could wake her up.
She opened her sleepy eyes, the hidden sleepiness hanging on her eyelashes, so heavy that she wanted to fall asleep. Violet held back and forced herself to be alert. She glanced at the person who was getting dressed and asked in surprise, "Your Highness?"
Dominic didn't expect that even though she slept so late yesterday, she could still be awakened. She moved closer to the bed and saw her obviously tired face. She leaned over and k!ssed her forehead and mouth lightly. At the same time, she patted her back with her hand and coaxed her softly, "It's still early. There's still time before the march. Be good and sleep a little longer. I'll call you when the time comes."
"Your Highness, why did you get up so early?" Violet was so confused by the coaxing that she didn't know what was going on. Her head was dizzy and her eyelids felt heavy as if they weighed a thousand pounds. She relied on her strong willpower to stay awake.
"I'm not sleepy. The soldiers made too much noise last night. I'm afraid they are not on duty well now. I'm worried, so I'm going to take a look and get some fresh air. Be good and sleep for a while."
