This night was not a peaceful one. By the time everything was settled, it was already late at night, not long before midnight.
"It's getting late, time to go back."
The last demon cultivator died, leaving only the remnants of the small demons hiding in the city. It would take at least seven or eight days to capture them one by one. Dominic had handed the task over to Mia and did not intend to supervise it personally. Glancing at the dark sky outside, he realized that the hail had gradually stopped.
"Go back?" Isabelle was surprised. "It's not early, but the return journey will take another hour or two. It's better to rest here tonight. The palace is vast and luxurious. It's no worse than your Beigong."
Dominic frowned, as if considering it seriously.
