Now that they had spoken, they were no longer reserved and opened their mouths, talking about every encounter since their first encounter. As time went by, after dusk, the already gloomy sky became even darker. Frost and snow fell from the sky and the earth, and the cold wind blew in their faces but was plucked out of its claws and turned into soft fluff without any threat. The scenery remained unchanged, except for the continuous mountain range that connected the sky and the earth and blocked the demons and humans, which kept getting closer.
Violet was able to follow Dominic's conversation at first, but then her eyelids became heavier and heavier. The rustling of the wind seemed like a spell that would induce a deep sleep, and it quickly took away her consciousness. Her body became limp, her head nodded, and she wished she could lie down on the bed and sleep till the end of the world.
Dominic's voice gradually faded. She sighed helplessly at the sleepy guy beside her, slapped her face as punishment, and then stabilized her swaying body and gently laid her down on her legs. Dominic's movements were careful enough, but after all, the noise was not small, and still woke the guy up.
Violet opened her eyes blankly and found herself resting her head on His Highness' legs and being stared at by smiling eyes. She was startled for a moment and asked, "Did I fall asleep?" As she said that, she was about to muster up her strength to get up, but before she could exert any strength, she was stopped by Dominic.
"When you feel tired, just sleep. It is better to lie down peacefully than nod your head in front of me."
