As the sun first shone, layers of fog filled the Yangtze River, and vaguely you could see river boats floating on the river.
Historically, Jiujiang has been more of a military town than an economic one. The Yangtze River flows past the city and Poyang Lake is located to the east of the city, making the river bay here the most vast and most suitable for stationing troops.
The unique geographical conditions make this place a battleground for military strategists during times of strife.
