As soon as the gunshots stopped, Asher Zhan had already rushed to the balcony and closed the floor-to-ceiling curtains. A few bold guests followed suit and closed all the surrounding curtains, turning the entire banquet hall into a fully enclosed room.
Finn Bai turned around and rushed into the elevator. He said to several panicked guests, "Call the police! No one should leave until the police arrive. It's safer to stay indoors now!"
Asher Zhan rushed in the moment the elevator door closed.
"Maoer, why are you following me?" Finn Bai held a gun in one hand, pulled off the tie that had troubled him for a long time with the other, and stuffed it into his trouser pocket.
"I want to go too!" Asher Zhan also took out his gun. Ever since Finn Bai gave him this pocket-sized Remington, Asher Zhan has been carrying it with him.
