More than six hundred years have passed since the establishment of the Shang Dynasty in Tang Dynasty. Emperor Yi had three sons. The youngest son, Shou De, was a direct descendant of the middle palace. He was extremely intelligent and accomplished both in civil and military affairs. Therefore, Emperor Yi did not establish an eldest son but a legitimate son, and passed the throne to Shoude.
After Shoude succeeded to the throne, he was called Emperor Xin, which was later known as King Zhou of Shang.
When King Zhou first succeeded to the throne, he also worked hard to govern and gained achievements in both civil and martial arts. He also expanded the capital and renamed it Chaoge. There are only three Concub!nes in the harem, the Jiang family in the middle palace, the Huang family in the west palace and the Yang family in the Xinqing palace. They are all virtuous Concub!nes.
However, history is always surprisingly similar. Like King Jie of Xia, King Zhou began to swell and become proud after achieving certain achievements.
What is even worse than King Xia Jie is that he is even more disrespectful to ghosts and gods.
