Shen Zheng put the bags he brought back from the supermarket on the ground and turned on the lights.
Oliver Pei followed Shen Zheng into the house like a big shot, holding a cup of milk tea in his hand: "Tell me quickly, what good day is today that made you make such a big fuss, Brother Shen?"
It was not the other party's birthday, nor was it some random anniversary. Unusually, Team Leader Shen did not work overtime. He even took Oliver Pei home despite Director Zhao's nagging, leaving the other poor guys in the special case team to cry silently.
Shen Zheng took the milk tea from Oliver Pei, looked at someone bending over to change shoes and said calmly: "My mother is coming over tonight."
