They went to a rooftop Western restaurant they often visited. Perhaps because they were really hungry, Oliver Ji couldn't even tell what song the violin was playing today.

While waiting for the food to be served, I met two people who tried to strike up a conversation with me.

The girl stole glances at the handsome guy opposite her for a long time, and finally mustered up the courage but was rejected by Adrian Xie directly, saying that he liked men. The pretty girl was shocked and her face fell immediately. When she was pulled away by her companion, she kept looking back.

Oliver Ji was used to it and watched with interest while eating.

The other was a man wearing diamond earrings.

Oliver Ji sat opposite and looked at the man carefully. The man had a delicate face and was wearing a silk shirt. The smell of perfume on his body could drift into his nose from a few meters away. Under the dim light of the restaurant, he had a kind of androgynous beauty.

At first glance, you can tell that she is the type that Adrian Xie would like.

The man leaned over to speak, and the silk tie on his chest slid to Adrian Xie's hand holding the knife and fork as he moved.

"My name is Yu Wei, what's yours?"

Oliver Ji watched as Yu Wei's hand handing over the business card just brushed past Adrian Xie's knuckles, and his lips almost touched his earlobe.

The guy opposite was as steady as an old dog. He just curled his lips slightly, and after taking the business card, he was not in a hurry to take his hand back. He paused ambiguously on the wrist bone, then pretended to be calm and took his hand away, whispering his name.

"Wait for your call." The man named Yu Wei chuckled and made a gesture.

Oliver Ji watched the whole process with his lips smacked, then he clicked his tongue and turned his head away silently.

...It's simply unbearable to watch.

At this time, in another cafe at University A.

"May I?"

Ethan He sat by the window, the American coffee in his hand stirred like a cup of cold medicine. He looked at Serena Miao and asked the question even though he knew the answer.

"Why did you think of looking for me?"

Serena Miao smiled. From the first time they met, she had been interested in Ethan He before she wanted to join the studio. Instead of dealing with a group of old-school academic teachers, it would be better to choose someone who suits her taste.

Besides, the school platform resources are tilted towards the business school. Any one of them would be a popular choice, not to mention the joining of Ethan He.

"You have the ability, and I have a little selfish motive."

"oh?"

Serena Miao took a sip of coffee. The first time she met Ethan He, she felt that this man had an extraordinary temperament and it would be difficult for him to blend in with the crowd.

In other words, artists have sharp eyes, and she intuitively felt that they would become partners, or friends.

Sure enough, after listening to it, Ethan He smiled and asked: "When will you meet the other two?"

The other two, Adrian Xie and Oliver Ji?

Serena Miao's attention was caught by a small black mole between the corner of his eye and the wing of his nose. She didn't have time to answer for a moment. She only came to her senses when Ethan He hummed in a puzzled tone.

"Anytime." She breathed a sigh of relief, apologized for her distraction, and said with a smile that she would arrange it as soon as possible.

After Serena Miao left, Ethan He added a box of creamer to the cup for the first time. It tasted bitter but then gradually became sweet, with a very mellow flavor.

It seems there is no need to find another excuse to approach.

Ethan He smiled slowly and watched Serena Miao's back disappear around the corner of the street.

On the other side, the three met.

"Not enough budget?" Adrian Xie asked after hearing Oliver Ji say that he wanted to find a way to connect with Qingcheng.

"Enough, enough, enough. How can it not be enough?" Oliver Ji was afraid that he would misunderstand, so he hurried to explain.

He only knew about Serena Miao's idea yesterday. When they were finishing their meal, Serena Miao suddenly said, "You want to add a project?" Oliver Ji was a little surprised. "Don't you look down on those people in the hospital?"

"Of course, those are of little value," the school simply contacted a few mediocre galleries, Mu Lu said, "We are a business school."

Oliver Ji was even more confused, "Why would we from the business school join in the fun?"

Serena Miao didn't say anything else, she had her own plans in mind.

"Remember to mention this to Adrian Xie and see what he thinks."

It just so happened that the three of them met today, so Oliver Ji brought it up.

Serena Miao also spoke up at this time, "It just so happens that Qingcheng will increase its investment this semester. We might as well give it a try. If it doesn't work, there's no loss."

Qingcheng is a well-known enterprise in City A. The boss graduated from A University. He has been having project dealings with his alma mater over the years, and the amount of money invested each year is not a small sum.

Being able to team up with Qingcheng would be a great starting point for the studio.

Adrian Xie didn't care about these things. It was just for fun. If the money was not enough, he would invest more. But now the studio is not just his business. Oliver Ji and Serena Miao are from good families and they have taken out their savings over the years. Unlike him, they really want to leave home and work on their own after graduation.

"Okay, let's do as you say."

Seeing him nod, Serena Miao handed over the information in her hand.

Adrian Xie flipped to the first page casually, as if he was looking at a menu, "What is this?"

"Ethan He, a junior in the business school, is a good match for his major."

Adrian Xie quickly flipped through it. It was a very impressive resume, but he was not interested in it and quickly handed it back to Serena Miao.

"You guys can do whatever you want. Contact me if you have any questions."

"We have to meet with him in two days to familiarize ourselves with the situation!" Oliver Ji shouted as he chased after him. Adrian Xie's voice had already faded away, and only his vague response could be heard.

Seeing him walking in a hurry, Serena Miao laughed and teased: "You are busy rushing to the scene."

Oliver Ji could not fail to hear the teasing in his girlfriend's words, "I hooked up with another one when I went to dinner two weeks ago. I guess they are having a hot relationship these days."

...I swear to God, Adrian Xie broke up with the guy from the restaurant last time a long time ago. After sleeping with him twice, he found out that the guy was cheating on her boyfriend. His expression at that time was as if he had swallowed two flies alive, the kind with green heads.

A few days later, the time for visiting the studio was scheduled for Tuesday. It was almost noon, but Oliver Ji and Serena Miao were still stuck in traffic. When Ethan He arrived, no one was in the store, so he could only walk around and visit by himself.

The first floor is decorated in a standard manner. Going up the spiral staircase, the private atmosphere becomes more and more apparent. The oil painting hanging on the wall looks very much like Pollock's drip painting, and is as messy and disorganized as straw.

An entire wall is utilized. One second it is an oil painting that is so abstract that it cannot be more abstract, and the next second you can see hollow carved walnuts and weird paper-cut illustrations. The various furnishings change rapidly.

Ethan He observed as he walked and found that Adrian Xie didn't seem to have any fixed preferences. This was very different from his standards for choosing a boyfriend, he thought secretly.

Ethan He's thoughts were wandering as he continued to walk upstairs, but he forgot to pay attention to his feet for a moment. In an instant, his whole body moved forward uncontrollably.

He Jiadu was ready to fall, but the next second someone held his forearm firmly and supported his waist.

In a flash, Ethan He smelled a cold masculine scent.

Adrian Xie also smelled a faint fragrance in the air, like soap or laundry detergent, very faint but not overlooked.

The two flavors are completely unrelated, but at this moment they are strangely blended together, as if they were symbiotic.

Ethan He raised his head.

Adrian Xie's position was a little backlit, so only his outline was visible, but he seemed to be able to depict the man's facial features and expression in his mind through the dark shadow.

His imposing appearance was captivating, but his brows were furrowed in a displeasure.

...After he stood firm, Adrian Xie withdrew his hand calmly and at the same time looked Ethan He up and down in a very short time.

Instead of his unmemorable appearance like plain water, he noticed Ethan He's hands.

His joints were distinct and he wore a bracelet on his wrist. The pure black beads made his skin look even whiter.

But it's too plain.

When Adrian Xie turned around, he only remembered the mole between his nose bridge and the corner of his eye, and his glowing white skin.

"Thanks."

Adrian Xie quickly turned around and went upstairs, so Ethan He could only thank him from the back of his head.

"They haven't come yet?"

"Traffic jam." He Jiayan said briefly and handed the iced drink to the person who was walking forward with his head down. A layer of steam had already formed on the wall of the cup. He handed it over together with a tissue.

"Thanks," Adrian Xie took it and turned around quickly, always half a step ahead of Ethan He. It was not until he turned the corner that he suddenly said - "Nice bracelet."

While Ethan He was waiting, he took a few steps forward, so Ethan He had to speed up and catch up.

"This is your work, right?"

After walking for another minute, Ethan He pointed at the painting hanging at the corner of the stairs and asked.

Adrian Xie paused for a moment while swallowing, and the water vapor wet his fingers through the tissue. He looked at Ethan He, "What?"

"intuition."

Adrian Xie let out an ambiguous chuckle, and after a moment spoke again, "What do you think?" This time he looked directly into Ethan He's eyes.

"It looks very good." Ethan He said with a frank look in his eyes, and then he walked forward and passed Adrian Xie.

"In fact, I have seen a lot of your works at this year's exhibition, including ceramics, sculptures, and handicrafts, but it is hard to associate them with the same person."

Adrian Xie didn't interrupt.

"Even ordinary people have their own habits when drawing and writing, let alone artists, but I can't see your style."

"This can only mean that---"

Oliver Ji's voice rang out at this moment: "Here it comes,"

"Sorry, the traffic is really bad. Thank you for bringing us some drinks..."

The conversation was interrupted as Serena Miao and Oliver Ji arrived late.

Oliver Ji gasped heavily and didn't drink the wine after taking it. Instead, he kept talking. Adrian Xie gave him a bad look.

You came at the perfect time.

"What does that mean?" He simply ignored the two people who were late.

Ethan He was in a good mood when he saw that the cup in his hand was only one-third empty.

He squints his eyes, as if he doesn't know that he has piqued someone's interest but cut it off midway.

"Let's talk about it next time. Let's get down to business first..."

The plastic cup in Adrian Xie's hand made a snapping sound.

Late at night the next day, in dormitory A.

"Hey Ethan He, why are you still not asleep so late?"

Blake Wu got out of bed and found that the light on his desk was still on. He didn't turn on the computer but was writing with a pen and paper.

He has two documents on hand, one is detailed information about the studio, and the other is Qingcheng's letter of intent to invest. These days, he has started to compare them.

Ethan He put the cap on the pen and asked, "Did I disturb you?"

Blake Wu waved his hands quickly, "No, no, I woke up because I had to pee."

He came over to take a look and said, "Didn't you finish the project a long time ago?"

Why does he seem even busier than before? He had never seen Ethan He sleep so late before.

Ethan He briefly mentioned it, "This time I am with my friends from the Academy of Fine Arts."

"Academy of Fine Arts? It's not even remotely related..." Blake Wu was in a hurry to pee and disappeared before he could finish his words.

"Go to bed early and don't stay up too late." After satisfying his physiological needs, Blake Wu yawned and climbed onto the bed in a few minutes. Within a few minutes, a slight snoring sound was heard in the dormitory.
