Four special forces soldiers lined up, bent their bodies and walked lightly along the tracks to the platform. Ethan Zhou, at the front of the team, whispered, "What?"
"Why did Lucas Yan..."
Oliver Si was a little embarrassed to speak, so Ethan Zhou stood on tiptoe and stuck his head out. There were more than a dozen zombies wandering on the spacious platform, and they were very badly decayed. There was an elevator forty meters away that led to the upper exit, but it had stopped operating.
Ethan Zhou quickly calculated the distance and time, adjusted the submachine gun to single-shot mode, and said softly while aiming: "You saved everyone, and saved Lucas Yan's life on the rooftop of the mall..."
There were a few whooshing sounds and the silencer fired softly. All the zombies near the elevator were shot and fell to the ground with a dull thud.
