Maybe it's because luck will turn around after it hits rock bottom, or maybe there will be good fortune after surviving a disaster; Ethan Zhou stretched his fighting nerves to the extreme, turned slightly sideways from the corner of the corridor with his gun in hand, only to find that there were not many zombies on this corridor.
Emily casually shot and killed a few staggering zombies, frowned and said: "What's going on? Are they all hiding?"
The lights in the corridor ahead were all off, and it was pitch dark. Ethan Zhou shone his tactical flashlight, and the entire corridor was empty.
A faint red light flickered at the door of an office at the far end - that was the Satellite Secure Communications Office, the destination of their trip.
"Stay alert," Ethan Zhou said softly, almost whispering, "One hundred meters ahead at twelve o'clock, Oliver Si is ready to blast."
