"Can you hold on?" Emily asked without turning her head.
After several hours of intense delivery, Dr. Zheng was almost exhausted. Now he was holding a crying baby in his arms and a woman who was barely breathing on his back. The heavy weight seemed to give him endless courage, and he said with certainty: "Yes!"
Oliver Si said softly: "Be careful and alert, go upstairs."
Emily led the way, the doctor was in the middle, and Oliver Si was at the rear. They took advantage of the brief gap when the zombies were moving from the first floor to the third floor and tried their best to move to the higher floors.
However, even with their best efforts, this survival team still had no speed at all. The dragging footsteps of the zombies downstairs were getting closer and closer, and finally, wailing was heard at the corner at the end of the corridor. The zombies were catching up!
