This waterside pavilion is the largest place for people to enjoy the scenery in the entire Fang family's mansion. Part of the vermilion pillars of the waterside pavilion are on the land, and part of it extends into the meandering water. It cleverly forms a volley structure that makes it easy to appreciate the color of the water. It is a common pattern of waterside pavilions in many gardens. You can recite poems and paint with friends indoors, or you can lean on the railing and gaze into the distance. Each season has its own beauty, which meets a variety of needs and is highly sought after by literati.
The name "Jiu Yu" on the plaque was naturally given by Clayton Xie, the real owner of the mansion.
