"Bodhisattva of Peace and Happiness? Never heard of it."
No one in the branch had heard of such a Bodhisattva. It was probably just as Ethan Chen said, some evil creature came out of nowhere and pretended to be a Bodhisattva to harm people. It happened that Du Shuo and Ma Shanfeng came in together at this time, and Ethan Chen repeated the same question to the two of them.
Ma Shanfeng was thoughtful: "Buddhist Bodhisattvas are as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River. But the 52 most well-known practicing Bodhisattvas are not the ones I have ever heard of. But seeing that it tempts believers to do evil and plays with their lives, I am afraid it is an evil god."
Bodhisattvas are people who practice Mahayana Buddhism. They can lead people to develop bodhi mind and be called Bodhisattvas. Therefore, the number of Bodhisattvas is as numerous as the grains of sand in the Ganges River. Any monk or nun can be called a Bodhisattva, except for a few representative Bodhisattvas who have achieved enlightenment and have many believers among the people. This has led many evil creatures to pretend to be Bodhisattvas and deceive people.
In times of turmoil, there were evil spirits who blatantly pretended to be Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, feeding on believers and eating up their internal organs, leaving only a skin, and then they would drill into the remaining skin to expand the evil team and continue to wreak havoc on the world.
