Ethan Chen was sleeping with his head resting on Du Shuo's arm when he was suddenly awakened from his deep sleep.
He opened his eyes and the light from the bedside lamp was enough for him to see the time on the alarm clock: 12:23.
He sat up, put on his coat, got out of bed, and put on his slippers. Du Shuo woke up when he got up, and without asking a question, he also got out of bed and put on his slippers.
"You felt it too?" Ethan Chen asked Du Shuo.
Du Shuo said, "Let's go and have a look."
