Owen Travis stared at the bedside lamp. The light seemed to reach his heart and cover up the accumulated troubles. But reason reminded him that the lamp belonged to someone else and the light did not belong to him.
He turned off the lights, not responding, but avoiding the question: "Ye Xiaowu, are you still not done with the show?"
Liam Harris said: "I am serious."
Owen Travis stood up, smoothed the creases on the bed sheet, and joked, "I said I treat you as my brother, but you don't have to really stick your neck out for your brother."
Liam Harris followed and said, "Even if we were just ordinary friends, I would help you if I needed help. Besides, you took care of me so much in the crew."
