Liam Harris took another stroll to make sure there were no fish that he had forgotten to say hello to.

When he was a big fat boy, his father carried him in one hand to attend banquets. Everyone came to tease him and pinch his cheeks. It was the first time he socialized with drooling.

Growing up, he had seen many scenes and many prominent figures by his father's side. Thanks to his father, he didn't have to worry about anything in those occasions. He just had to go there and enjoy the praise and flattery, whether it was true or false.

Now that he was on his own, he had to carry his wine glass around and laugh until his face was sore. But despite the fatigue, he managed it with ease.

Liam Harris picked an empty table in the corner, half of which was covered by a screen. He crossed his legs and sat in a leather chair, doing nothing.

Lucas Bennett came over like a wild dog, smelling the scent, with the straight man's happiness on his face still there: "Xianqi is so damn beautiful, I'm captivated, I really want to take care of her."

Liam Harris said: "I'll ask her for you if she still needs an assistant."

Lucas Bennett still has some conscience: "I am not a person who values   love over friendship. No matter how great the temptation from the outside world is, I will never leave you until you become famous."

Liam Harris worriedly asked, "What if I never become famous? Will I have to support you in your old age?"

"Pah, pah, pah!" Lucas Bennett said, "You are the leading male now, and you are Owen Travis's leading male. When this drama is finished and aired, you will definitely become a big star."

Every little star has dreamed of becoming famous, receiving endless scripts and advertisements, being overwhelmed with schedules, being mobbed by fans when going out, and getting tens of thousands of comments even if they fart on Weibo.

Probably due to hunger and low blood sugar, Liam Harris asked dazedly: "If I become famous, how many plays will my album get?"

Lucas Bennett's face fell: "You are thinking about the music industry, just like me coveting Xianqi."

"Deeply in love?"

"No, that's just wishful thinking."

Before Liam Harris and Lucas Bennett started fighting, someone suddenly came around the screen. It was the assistant director.

Lucas Bennett stood up immediately: "You are here, please sit down!"

The assistant director stopped at the table and said, "No, I'll leave after I finish speaking."

Lucas Bennett couldn't wait: "Does Director Ren have any arrangements?"

"Yes, I came to inform you." The assistant said, "Teacher Lu, Editor Qu wants to see you. Please get ready and go to the box later. Is ten minutes enough?"

Lucas Bennett responded: "That's enough. We are always ready."

The assistant director revealed: "Originally, Director Ren didn't want the actors to disturb Qu, because Qu didn't like to interact with actors, but Qu asked to meet the male lead."

Liam Harris was surprised and asked, "You asked to see me?"

"It's true," the assistant director said. "You'll be there in ten minutes."

Liam Harris quickly asked, "What does Teacher Qu look like? I have never seen him."

The assistant director replied: "Editor Qu is sitting next to Director Ren, wearing black. On the other side of Director Ren is Mr. Zhou from Haoyang Culture, the big boss of the co-producers, and you can also say hello to him."

Lucas Bennett agreed hastily, and when the other party left, he grabbed Liam Harris's hands and said, "Did you hear that? Teacher Qu asked to see you."

Liam Harris was tired of waiting, but now he was full of energy again: "You're right, Teacher Qu will see me!"

Lucas Bennett said: "Hurry up, hurry up and get ready. In ten minutes you will meet the mentor of your acting career."

Liam Harris was at a loss: "How should I prepare? What should I say when I see him?"

Lucas Bennett took out a piece of paper from his pocket: "Don't worry, I've already prepared the lyrics for you."

Liam Harris is not good at flattering people, so if there is a draft, just recite it.

Lucas Bennett said: "Owen Travis's friends are all big names, and he is used to seeing them being calm and at ease. You have to show your little transparent qualities, be sincere, clumsy, and even nervous to the point of stuttering. This will make Owen Travis feel rare and feel how excited you are to see him, understand?"

"I understand." Liam Harris memorized the words quickly. There were only a few sentences. If he said too much, he would make Owen Travis impatient.

Lucas Bennett reminded him: "Since Editor Qu specifically asked to see you, he will probably chat with you and ask you questions."

"Ah?" Liam Harris was afraid of the teacher asking questions since he was a child. "It shouldn't be too difficult, right?"

Lucas Bennett said: "Just remember one thing. For questions you are not sure about, it is better to answer "I don't know" than to speak freely. Being sincere is the most important thing. Don't pretend to be cool in front of Qu."

Ten minutes passed quickly, and Liam Harris left the banquet hall holding a glass of wine. Lucas Bennett accompanied him and walked from one end of the corridor to the outside of the box. He seemed to hear some sound through the door.

Liam Harris said, "I'm going to go in and pretend to be a grandson."

"Go ahead and smile cutely." Lucas Bennett put his hands together, "I pray for you, Amitabha."

Liam Harris went there, and when he reached the door of the box, Lucas Bennett caught up with him.

Fearing that he would not remember, Lucas Bennett waited until the last moment and reminded him: "After you finish speaking, add an exaggerated, sensational, and unique sentence at the end, so that Mr. Qu will remember you the first time he sees you. Only by remembering you will he have a chance to think of you in the future."

Liam Harris remembered them one by one and said to the waiter: "Open the door."

The two doors were pushed open, and a mini porch in the old New York style came into view. A curved corner table served as a partition, and the vase on it was filled with Western peonies. Through the fluttering branches, Liam Harris saw a whole peacock feather-colored background wall in the inner room.

He approached the banquet under the wall. The exaggerated large round table was covered with extravagantly presented dishes, bottles of champagne and Wuliangye were scattered all over the place, and a circle of velvet chairs were filled with people, more than half of whom were slightly tipsy.

Liam Harris didn't have time to scan them one by one. When he looked closely, the first person he saw was Owen Travis.

He was a little nervous at first, but now he was completely stunned.

What's going on! Why is this guy sitting in the box? !

In front of Owen Travis was a bowl of hot noodles. He didn't eat the shrimps and crabs on the table. He drank a lot of wine, so he specially asked for a bowl of noodles to fill his stomach. Hearing footsteps, he raised his head and met Liam Harris's eyes across the diameter of the round table.

Liam Harris's eyes widened, and he asked silently: Why are you here? !

Owen Travis raised his eyebrows and shrugged slightly.

Before they could come to an end in silence, Ryan Foster waved his hand: "Xiao Lu is here."

Liam Harris came back to his senses, and looked away from Owen Travis and towards Ryan Foster. He was shocked again, this guy was actually sitting next to the director!

What kind of position?! Sitting next to the director?!

Liam Harris's brain was working at high speed. This guy wanted the production director to pick him up at the airport in person, ride in the director's private luxury car, not attend the script reading, and sit in the box at the opening banquet...

Thinking of what the assistant director said, the person sitting next to Director Ren is...

Liam Harris finally understood that this man turned out to be the head of Haoyang Culture, Mr. Zhou.

He looked at Owen Travis again with a somewhat stiff expression, suspecting that he had unknowingly offended the big boss of the co-producer.

Ryan Foster saw Liam Harris's embarrassed expression and guessed that it was because he got on the wrong bus and said, "Xiao Lu, don't just stand there, let's toast to Teacher Qu first."

Liam Harris suddenly came to his senses. Yes, he came to see Owen Travis.

Owen Travis is the biggest investor. As long as Owen Travis appreciates him, no one else matters.

Next to the director is Mr. Zhou, and on the other side is Owen Travis. Liam Harris thought, and his eyes drifted to the other side of Ryan Foster. The man was dressed in a suit and tie, wearing gold-rimmed glasses, and was slightly fat. At first glance, he looked like a well-educated screenwriter.

But is the assistant director color blind? Teacher Qu was clearly wearing gray clothes.

Owen Travis lowered his head to eat noodles. In his peripheral vision, Liam Harris walked around the semicircle of seats and got closer. He smelled the fresh citrus perfume among the smell of alcohol.

Then, Liam Harris passed by him without stopping.

Walking to the other side of Ryan Foster, Liam Harris stopped beside Mr. Zhou. Looking closely, he saw that the top of his head was a little bald. He thought, it seems that writing is more brain-intensive.

All eyes focused on him and Mr. Zhou raised his head hesitantly.

Liam Harris bowed slightly and looked at Mr. Zhou. According to the words he had memorized in advance, he spoke in a correct and loud voice - "Hello, Teacher Qu."

The sound of eating noodles stopped.

Liam Harris took a deep breath and said, "Teacher Qu, my name is Liam Harris. You probably know my name, but I can't help it... I want to tell you again face to face."

"I have always been a fan of yours, but I never thought that I would be able to act in your script one day. I am so lucky that I can meet you today. I am so excited!"

Mr. Zhou said: "Young man..."

"Hey!" Liam Harris agreed.

In order to prevent Owen Travis from asking questions so quickly, he said first: "Teacher Qu, I know that every character is the result of your hard work, especially the protagonist. I will study the script carefully and do my best to complete my role. Just wait and see how I perform!"

He paused for a second after he finished speaking, fearing that he would appear clumsy if he spoke too coherently. Then he held the champagne in both hands and smiled a little silly and shyly: "Teacher Qu, I hope I will have the honor to work with you again in the future."

Mr. Zhou said: "I..."

"As you wish!" Liam Harris insisted until the last word, "I'll drink first as a sign of respect!"

He picked up the wine glass and drank it in one gulp. Suddenly, he remembered Lucas Bennett's reminder that he should say something exaggerated, sensational, and unique at the end so that Owen Travis would remember him.

Liam Harris looked at the wrinkles at the corners of Mr. Zhou's eyes and the faintly shiny top of his head, and estimated his age.

He gritted his teeth, risked being beaten and said, "Teacher Qu, I grew up in a single-parent family. Seeing you today... is like seeing my father."

The box was completely silent, everyone was stunned, and the drunk people all sobered up.

Owen Travis put down his chopsticks, turned around and raised his eyelids to look at Liam Harris's tall back.

His mouth was full of spiciness, but his voice sounded like a cup of cold Longjing tea, and he said "hello" slowly and unhurriedly.

Suddenly, Liam Harris was startled and turned around.

Owen Travis looked at him with a half-smile and said softly, "Silly boy, the one named Qu is here."
