The fire flickered a few times, and Jiang Yan's pupils shook, flashing a smile.

He saw genuine confusion in the giant python's cold eyes and couldn't help but chuckle.

Although the beast is as imposing and frightening as a mountain, it is curious about unknown things, and its eyes reveal emotions similar to those of humans.

Jiang Yan said in a good-natured manner: "Put me down, I'll serve you a bowl and let you taste it. This is the way humans cook."

After a while, his feet touched the ground and he felt the solid ground.

Jiang Yan poured out the second portion of bone soup from the pot, picked up the largest piece of pig's trotter, and almost filled it with mushrooms.

He raised his arm holding the bowl and looked up at the python: "Try it?"

Snake Brain lowered its head and stared coldly at the bowl that Jiang Yan was holding high.

Jiang Yan found it funny and was about to put down his arm when the giant python stuck out its tongue, licked the bone soup, and then rolled up the entire bowl.

Jiang Yan exclaimed: "Don't eat the bowl too."

The snake's tongue wrapped around the pottery bowl paused, Jiang Yan sat on the stone slab, clapped his hands and said, "Give it to me."

The bowl fell back into Jiang Yan's hands, and he smiled even more deeply. He picked up a large piece of pig's trotter meat with chopsticks made of wooden sticks, raised it, and signaled the giant python to lower the angle to eat.

The pig's trotter meat disappeared quickly. The giant python ate this little bit of meat as if it was stuck in its teeth and swallowed it in one bite easily.

Jiang Yan simply grabbed the mushroom, palm up: "Where are the mushrooms? Do you want to try them?"

The mushrooms that he had grabbed in his hands quickly disappeared, and the giant python quickly swallowed the mushrooms.

Jiang Yan pressed down his pursed lips and said, "The pig's trotters are stewed until soft and tender, and they have a great texture and melt in your mouth. If you swallow them in one gulp... you may not be able to taste their original flavor."

At this time, the giant python stretched out its tongue to taste the pork bone soup in the bowl. Jiang Yan watched silently but smiled without saying a word.

The cold wind kept blowing at the entrance of the cave, blowing the chill in, but Jiang Yan felt warm all over.

At this moment, he felt indescribably relaxed. It was the first time he felt truly comfortable since coming to the jungle in another world.

I always take the python into consideration when doing things. Even when I go to sleep at night, I need to be cautious.

It was at this moment that he discovered that the giant python did not understand nothing. Not only could it occasionally perceive a person's emotions and understand what he meant, but it could also get along with him.

Feeding a giant python was a scene that Jiang Yan had never imagined.

He asked, "Do you want more? I didn't make much pork bone soup tonight, so you can prepare more tomorrow night."

According to the python's appetite, even if he cooked dozens of portions in this small pot, it would not be enough for it to eat. However, Jiang Yan still asked softly, as if he had a friend around him with whom he could talk.

He hadn't communicated with anyone for a long time, so he was inevitably lonely.

Of course the giant python didn't eat it. It curled up lazily, its pupils open, and moved slightly as Jiang Yan concentrated on packing up.

After putting away the utensils, Jiang Yan boiled a pot of hot water.

Water vapor was rising, Jiang Yan tested the temperature and was quite satisfied.

He hadn't taken a hot bath since he came to the jungle. The wind outside the cave was freezing cold, and he would feel much more comfortable after wiping his body with hot water and then sleeping.

He took off his sweatshirt rustlingly, and scooped up the hot water to rub his body. After a while, he couldn't help turning his head and saw the half-closed snake eyes, then he continued to concentrate on bathing.

Half a quarter of an hour later, Jiang Yan lay on the stone bed with his hands and feet wrapped in deerskin, warm. He had just taken a hot shower and a fire was lit next to him. His handsome and fair face looked extremely rosy, and his clear eyes like a deer reflected two clusters of bright and jumping flames.

He stretched his arms and legs and sighed.

"It would be nice to have a hide."

A deerskin is too difficult to get through the autumn. If there is a thick animal blanket, it can greatly resist the cold. But I don’t know how cold the winter here is compared with the modern winter?

Jiang Yan thought about a lot of irrelevant things, with fragmented thoughts flashing through his mind one after another, and then he fell into a deep sleep.

The autumn night was like water, and the giant python coiled on the other side began to move.

Perhaps it was attracted by the warmth of the burning flames, or perhaps it had not forgotten the soft warmth on Jiang Yan's body. It approached the stone bed, silently looked at the little man curled up in a ball for a while, and then wrapped its arms around him.

In the dream, Jiang Yan seemed to be drowning, tied up from head to toe, with an overwhelming greasy feeling. The more he struggled, the more uncomfortable he felt, and he had to open his eyes from the suffocation.

The snake's tail that was wrapped around him did not wrap around his waist and abdomen as usual, but instead wrapped around his shoulders. Compared with the snake scales sticking to him, the clothes and deerskin were only a thin layer, looking vulnerable.

The presence of the snake's tail was too strong. Jiang Yan could clearly feel the long, inky black tail sliding against him, leaving behind a damp and slightly sticky scent.

He was not fully conscious yet and was still a little confused. He wanted to ask the python to let it loose.

Before he could finish his words, Jiang Yan's mind went blank and he was stunned for a moment.

His whole body felt like it was on fire, and he even felt like he was being severely scratched by the scales.

Jiang Yan's eyelids twitched.

"...!"

This jungle king is pestering me again...

He couldn't look directly at the snake's tail sliding on his body, the scales gleaming with light, and he couldn't look directly at the open scales.

He shouted, "Let me go!"

But this time was unlike the last time when the python let go after he scolded him. The cold snake tongue even touched his cheek.

Jiang Yan's knees sank and his legs were pinned down by the snake's tail, making him unable to move.

When he was released by the giant python, he jumped weakly from the stone bed. The stone bed was slippery, and even the deerskin became slippery. He ran away without looking back.

Jiang Yan did not run out of the cave. The giant python would not let him go out at this time, so Jiang Yan could not walk out of the cave.

The giant python was so heavy that it pressed down on him, causing him to feel both pain and numbness, as well as a feeling of being run over by something slippery.

He bit his lip, his face turned pale, and he didn't know whether the giant python was in heat or what...

This is not the first time. The breeding season for animals has passed. How could it be...

Jiang Yan frowned and held his forehead.

He also realized belatedly that the python did not want to eat him as food, but was eating him in another form.

It was still dark, but Jiang Yan refused to go back to the stone bed to sleep no matter what.

Yu Guang couldn't help but secretly peek in the direction of the giant python, fearing that its tail would wrap around him again when he was not paying attention.

He dozed off against the stone wall in the corner, his elbows half-raised, his eyes lowered, but he was not asleep.

He really couldn't hold on any longer, so he kept his energy by closing his eyes and resting. When he felt the slightest movement, he quickly opened his eyes and saw the giant python coiled inside without any movement. He felt relieved then.

The morning sky was slightly gray, and Jiang Yan took his cooking utensils and went to the stream early.

The grass and trees around the mountains were covered with the frost of late autumn, a stretch of undulating white. When I put my hand into the stream, my fingertips felt the biting cold.

Jiang Yan was shivering all over. He quickly rinsed the pots and bowls, filled them with water, and hurried back to the cave to light a fire. He first heated the water and then gathered around the fire to keep warm.

The giant python showed no signs of opening its eyes and looked lazy. The colder the weather, the later it left its nest.

The surroundings were silent. Jiang Yan buried his head and concentrated on the work at hand. He planned to go out and pick some fruits while the sky was cloudy.

Several gusts of cold wind blew in. He stood at the entrance of the cave, covered his mouth and nose tightly, and sneezed several times continuously. Subconsciously, he quietly turned sideways, and the giant python really opened its pair of shallow animal eyes and looked at him.

After what happened last night, Jiang Yan deliberately avoided the giant python.

He wrapped the deerskin tightly and shivered a few times: "I'm going to go out to collect some things. I'll be back when I'm done. Don't follow me."

After saying that, he left without looking back, as if he was hiding.

The giant python opened its eyes, looking thoughtful.

Jiang Yan pulled away the dead vines nearby and roughly wove a net bag.

The net bag is convenient to carry, and is perfect for picking fruits when going out. He carried the vine bag and searched the places where he had picked fruits.

Most of the wild fruits in the mountains were ripe as early as the beginning of autumn. Near the end of autumn, many of the fruits on the branches fell. For the remaining ones, Jiang Yan planned to pick a few more today and take them back to make fruit juice, or air-dry them and store them.

He was busy all day and in the evening he hastily cut a few slices of barbecue and ate them with the juice he squeezed out.

The giant python did not go out that day. After Jiang Yan finished his meal, he simply washed himself with water and went to bed early. He pressed his whole body against the corner of the stone bed, fearing that he would be snatched away by the giant python.

Ever since the autumn rain the day before, Jiang Yan couldn’t completely drive away the cold by sitting by the fire at night.

He slept uneasily and often woke up from the cold. The next day, he had a cold all day and slept in the cave without any energy. He boiled a pot of hot water and drank it frequently.

He placed his hands over the fire and rubbed them vigorously.

It stands to reason that the giant python would rarely go out in such a cold weather, but Jiang Yan watched the shadow of the cave entrance go away and wondered what the giant python was going to do.

After all, snakes have the habit of hibernating, and the colder it is, the less active they are. Of course, this jungle and his world are no longer in the same dimension, so it should be normal for this giant python not to hibernate.

Moreover, Jiang Yan wished that the giant python would go out more often so that he could be alone and have peace and quiet!
