When Gwen changed into her pajamas and returned to Lucas’s bedroom, Lucas was sitting on the bed reading a book. When she saw her coming in, there was a flash of surprise and he immediately returned to nature.
Gwen hugged a tall bear, opened the quilt and lay down, then placed the bear between the two people.
Looking at Lucas’s slightly puzzled eyes, Gwen explained, “If you don’t hold this doll when you sleep, it feels like you can’t sleep, so I brought it here.”
