He was half joking when he said this. Anya and Mora couldn't give him much in return, so he wouldn't do anything to them. Saving them was in his own interest - although it was a pity to give up plundering the treasury of Grand Duke Xihe for this.
"Of course not. Even children know the principle of repaying a drop of kindness with a spring of water. How valuable your life is, so you have to repay it with as much heart as possible. Dwarves are the most loyal race, and they will never owe others a favor!" Mora said nonchalantly, "You helped me kill the Grand Duke and saved my life. I will double the reward for you! My money is hidden somewhere in the grassland, I will take you to dig it up later!"
Anya's expression changed when she heard Mora say that.
Did the dwarf do this on purpose? How would she save face after this happened?
