The next day, Ganon met the Pope again and finally took the scepter from him.
The whole process was that Bishop Marcel stepped forward first, saluted before the Pope, and stretched out his hands respectfully. Then the Pope, with a majestic look on his face, placed the scepter in Bishop Marcel's hands.
Then Bishop Marcel turned around and returned to the waiting Jeanna and Ganon with the holy relic in his hands with a solemn expression.
"You must keep it properly." The Pope solemnly warned Ganon, "This is passed down from generation to generation between popes. It is a symbol of ecclesiastical authority... Hey, don't be so rude!!"
His words turned into a scolding halfway through, because Ganon reached out with an impatient look on his face and snatched the scepter from Bishop Marcel's hand.
