At the Dark Night City Factory No. 3, Major Odgan looked up at the pitch-black smoke that completely blocked out the sunlight, and resisted the urge to frown.
In the distance, a towering chimney was continuously spewing out inky black smoke, which accumulated into a large dark cloud right above the factory and enveloped the factory.
Being sent to Dark Night City by the Queen to inspect the factories here is undoubtedly an important task, and for an imperial soldier it should be considered an honor.
But for a paladin, staying in a place full of undead for several hours is indeed a bit torturous.
"Are you interested in the sky screen? Before this device was invented, these skeletons could only work in indoor workshops on sunny days. The sunlight would weaken the control of necromancy and affect the precision of the workers' movements. Now they can truly work day and night, rain or shine."
