"Hmph, enough joking." Bensander switched to a more serious tone within a second and said to Ganon, "I must admit that I was surprised to hear that you knew there was a divine weapon hidden at the bottom of the Nether Lake. Not many people should know about that."
Originally, even the mayors of the city-states that were members of the Nether Lake Council, including the late Van Helsing and Prince Aliu, hardly knew that Nether Lake was created by Bansander using a divine artifact. Most people thought it was a miracle left by the god of death in the Age of Gods.
It was not until Ganon sent an envoy from Red Moon City to ask Bansander for the artifact that Bansander, sensing the crisis, was forced to reveal the truth about the Nether Lake to the members of the council.
"I know a lot of things, including your past." Ganon said slowly.
The confidential information about Bansander provided by Federal Speaker Karin was indeed of great help, otherwise it would take the dark elves an unknown amount of time to learn the truth about the artifact.
