Master Mingyun Zhai and Monk Tianmu were summoned to the Sutra Repository by Alexander Su. When they heard that he was going to live in the imperial city for a while, they all spoke out to dissuade him.
Tianmu said with a worried look on his face: "That donor Qi is quite ambitious. I think the Bodhisattva should not get too close to him."
"And what is her intention in inviting the Bodhisattva to live in the palace? Don't say that you are not her courtier. Even if you are, since ancient times, it has never been heard of that a foreign courtier stayed overnight in the palace."
Mingyun's tone was more tactful, but he also disagreed, "Buddha, although Qi Longhuang is just a mortal, she is currently in a good destiny and can benefit from the good fortune of humanity. We must be more vigilant against her."
"Not to mention that the Great Chu Dynasty still has some foundation, and some of its martial arts masters can even threaten us."
