The main peak is Changdao Temple. This temple is much smaller than Shangqing Palace, but it is more quiet and peaceful, and usually few people come here.
It is located on a hillside between Baiyun Creek and Haitang Creek. With the uneven terrain, it is surrounded by steep cliffs and rocks, and surrounded by mountains. It has the reputation of "Thousands of cliffs hide secluded beauties, and tens of thousands of trees are shrouded in mist and strange peaks".
The headmaster entertained Alexander Su on the right side of the Taoist temple, on an observation platform overlooking a thousand-meter-high cliff and a vast sea of clouds.
The stone platform is engraved with symbols of the equator, ecliptic, stars and so on. On both sides are placed a spherical armillary sphere, a long gnomon, a pot-shaped altarpiece, and a disc-shaped sundial.
The headmaster's appearance had hardly changed from when Alexander Su first met him. He still had the gaunt face, kind expression, and bright eyes. He looked like an old man who was very easy to get along with.
