The so-called "zhiren zhima" refers to plant creatures that have been transformed from Ganoderma lucidum for more than a thousand years. They may be in the shape of humans, horses, or other creatures, and mostly appear in deep mountains and old forests.
Some mortals have even seen them traveling in bronze chariots, looking like emperors on a tour, with all kinds of mountain monsters following behind them.
There are many records about such strange creatures in "Baopuzi", "Shenyijing" and "Jianhuji". Ancient books also say that eating thousand-year-old Ganoderma lucidum can prolong life and achieve immortality.
What Alexander Su didn't expect was that the fruit on this Jiaoli Fairy Tree, seemingly because of its great age, had actually developed a little intelligence.
Although their bodies have not yet transformed into human or horse form, the fairy fruit has already developed spirituality. It may take another one or two thousand years for them to truly transform and survive independently from their mother body.
