Gabriel Chu lay on the bed, his head groggy, his consciousness sometimes clear and sometimes fuzzy.
In a trance, he seemed to hear two people arguing, it seemed to be Jasper Shi and Asher Mo, then the sound of the quarrel disappeared, and there was only the sound of the whistling wind in his ears.
Later, he seemed to be lying in warm bedding, and someone was talking to him. The fragmented voice seemed to come from across the ocean. He could not hear clearly, only a few words occasionally floated in, about past life, about master. He vaguely felt that it seemed to be the voice of Jasper Shi, but he did not have much energy to digest it, and these sentences soon dissipated like morning mist.
His memories became complete and clear little by little. The memories of his past lives were like rainwater flowing into rivers and finally rushing into the sea.
The first thing he dreamed of was a deep and secluded corridor, which was built on the Red Lotus Water Pavilion at the peak of life and death. The corridor was covered with branches of vines and flowers. When the wind blew, the fragrant snow fell, and the whole paper was filled with fragrance.
