Linyuan is located on the outskirts of Chang'an. It was originally a garden built during the Qin Dynasty. It contains palaces built with rammed earth and patterned tiles, gardens for emperors and nobles to hunt, and ponds for rest and entertainment.
Although the building is in some damage, it is built close to the mountains and rivers and is large in scale, which is enough to show its former splendor.
There are many kinds of animals and birds in the garden.
When the horn sounded, wild deer ran in herds and birds fluttered their wings, covering the sky and the ground.
After Emperor Gaozu of the Han Dynasty was founded, in view of the many years of war, the decline of people's livelihood and the lack of food for the people in the capital, he issued an imperial decree to return the gardens and parks to the people and allow the people to cultivate millet, hunt and cut wood.
