When Liu Ling revealed her identity, saying that she was the daughter of the King of Huainan, it was like a thunderclap. The Xiongnu nobles present were furious, and most of them drew their short knives and threatened to kill her.
Yizhixie did not say a word. He raised his arm to stop the angry crowd. His hawk-like eyes swept over Liu Ling, as if he wanted to see through her completely.

I wanted to flee to the Western Regions and hide my identity for the rest of my life, otherwise I would not survive."
