The Huyan tribe acted quickly. More than 200 people organized themselves, jumped on the recovered war horses, and rushed all the way to find the headquarters of the Right Wise King as quickly as possible to report the news that the tribe had been robbed and that the Xianbei and Han people were colluding.
They can't be slow even if they want to.
The tribe was repeatedly looted. Whatever food was not taken away was burned in the fire. The cattle and sheep were scattered across the grassland and only a limited number could be found. It became a problem for everyone to eat.
The tribal warriors have not returned yet, and the amount of spoils is still unknown.
The Han cavalry could even go to the heart of the grassland to plunder, so the people of the Huyan tribe were a little unsure whether this southward march would be successful. Some were even more pessimistic, thinking that they would not only not gain any benefits, but might even suffer casualties.
