The 13th was a pretty ordinary day, as cold as yesterday.
There was no TV in the house, and Elliot Huang didn't have a mobile phone. Chen Shi did have a mobile phone, but he couldn't access the Internet. Neither of them went to the studio. They slept until they woke up naturally and then got up to eat, practice together, do problems together, and eat snacks together. Most of the day passed without realizing it.
There was always a teapot on the stove, and the front and rear windows were half-opened, allowing air to circulate and the room not feeling stuffy.
Elliot Huang read English words to Chen Shi, reading each word twice.
Chen Shi was writing silently in his notebook and also wanted to write Chinese. He got stuck on a word, wrote it and crossed it out, "Slow down."
