Ava lowered his head, his face flushed red, spreading from his neck to below his collarbone.
It was too quiet after that sentence. She quietly raised her head and wanted to take a sneak peek at him, but she ran into his smiling eyes and couldn't escape.
Knowing that it was not okay to keep looking at each other like this, Ava closed her eyes and hugged him tightly, saying quickly: "Don't talk, let's just stay quiet for a while."
He just put his arms around her waist and obeyed without saying a word.
It was so quiet that she seemed to hear his heartbeat.
