The two of them had a big fight, and they said everything that was usually difficult to say out loud, along with the dissatisfaction that had been accumulating for a long time.
After the quarrel and the crying, all that was left was tiredness. Ava was lying in a corner of the sofa, while Caleb was half kneeling beside the sofa, wiping her hands carefully with a wet towel.
After cleaning the sticky cream off her hands, Caleb stood up and packed up the snacks and beer in front of the sofa, taking away the bag of puffs he had recently brought back.
Ava closed his eyes and listened to the noise of him cleaning up in the kitchen. Suddenly he shouted, "Don't throw it away. I haven't tasted it yet."
Caleb glanced at the puff and replied, "I won't throw it away."
