"I'm leaving, get in quickly." Caleb waved and closed the car window.

He originally wanted to give her New Year's money, but he felt that if he gave it to her, it would dilute the feeling of being touched by her mother.

That kind of romance is not brought by love, but the warmth brought to her by family affection. It is the kind of warmth she needs and wants most.

"Yeah." Ava nodded blankly and watched the car drive away again.

Looking down at the thin envelope, she suddenly felt her eyes warm.

"Mom, I'm back." Ava held the gift in one hand and turned back to close the door with the other.

Professor Jin took the things from her hand and asked in confusion, "Where did you get these things when you were out for such a short while?"

Ava squatted on the ground to change his shoes, and replied: "Caleb brought it, saying it was a Spring Festival gift for my mother."

"A gift for me?" Professor Jin stopped the action of putting the things in the corner and sat down on the sofa with the gifts in his hand: "Then let me see what gifts he gave me."

Ava squatted beside him and helped unpack the package, saying, "I don't know either. He didn't say what it was."

After unwrapping the outermost wrapping paper, Professor Jin said, "It looks like wine."

Professor Jin particularly loves drinking wine, which is something everyone who knows her knows.

"But..." Professor Jin looked at the wine, and suddenly seemed to remember something and asked, "Why did he give me another gift? I haven't had time to drink the tea he gave me before the Spring Festival."

"Uh..." Ava, who was squatting on the ground, was startled, then he looked up and smiled: "Giving a gift doesn't require so many reasons. Maybe I saw the wine by chance and remembered that my mom was coming, so I bought it for you~"

"Really?" Professor Jin held the bottle of wine in both hands. It was obvious that she liked the gift very much. She smiled and said, "That brat is thoughtful. He knows that I like wine."

After putting the wine in the box, Professor Jin said, "However, since he knew I liked red wine and gave me tea last time, what did that kid from Caleb think?"

Ava, who was squatting on the side, choked and paused before saying, "It's normal to give tea to elders~"

Fortunately, Professor Jin didn't think too much about it. He nodded and said, "It seems to be true if you put it that way."

In fact, the tea was not sent by Caleb, but was sent in the name of Professor Jin when Ava gave him a gift before the Spring Festival.

Of course she knew that Professor Jin liked red wine, but red wine contains alcohol after all, which has more or less some effects on the body. So Ava chose tea and wanted Professor Jin to drink more tea and less alcohol.

Little did she know that Caleb had already prepared a gift, but he was busy with his comeback and concert at that time, and the two of them had their first quarrel. There were so many things to do that he even forgot to give the gift.

"Oh, right!" Ava moved the gift to the wall and put it away. When he stood up, he suddenly thought of something and turned around and asked, "Shouldn't my mother be in Chengbeidong at this time? Why did she come here suddenly?"

"Yes, how come the people who should have stayed in Chengbeidong suddenly came here..." Professor Jin sighed and said slowly: "I was worried that they would be too lonely at home, worried that they would not eat well, worried about this and that, so I hurried over after the ancestor worship was over."

"Who would have thought......" Professor Jin looked up at Ava and continued, "She has a boyfriend by her side. My mom doesn't care about anything at all. She doesn't need anything at all."

"Oh! Mom~" Ava took a few quick steps and squatted down beside Professor Jin, hugging her knees and said, "What are you talking about, you don't know how happy I am when I see you."

Professor Jin: "Really? Am I not the bad guy who ruined the world of two people without any consideration?"

Ava had no idea what to do with this 'pretentious' mom, so he could only use his trump card and asked seriously: "Don't you like Caleb?"

Professor Jin was startled: "That's not the case..."

After all, apart from not liking the fact that he would snatch Ava from her, she hasn't found any bad habits in that Caleb kid so far.

She is just a little...jealous? (Although she doesn't want to admit it)

Thinking about her eldest sister's marriage, she now understands how her parents felt at that time.

"That's good." She patted Professor Jin's knees: "I will always belong to my mother, and no one will take me away from her."

Professor Jin said stubbornly: "I didn't say anyone would snatch you away......"

"Yes, yes, my mom didn't tell me. I was just guessing." Ava stood up and walked towards the cloakroom with his coat, asking as he walked: "Will my mom stay here with me today?"

Professor Jin lazily asked back: "You don't welcome me?"

"You're not leaving at night?" Ava understood the hidden meaning behind Professor Jin's words, and poked his head out of the door, asking with sparkling eyes: "Really?"

Professor Jin nodded: "That's the plan for now."

"Oh yeah! Ah Sa!" Ava clenched his fist and jumped on the spot, then raised his head and asked excitedly: "What do you want to eat for lunch?"

Professor Jin saw her joy and just smiled and said, "What should I do? I've already had lunch."

"It doesn't matter." Ava shook his head casually and asked, "What about tonight? What do you want to eat? Just tell me, mom."

Professor Jin waved at her, put his arm around her and asked, "Are you so happy?"

Ava hugged Professor Jin's waist with his backhand and nodded vigorously: "Yes, I'm very happy. Very, very happy."

It turns out that people who have their mothers loving them are so happy.

In the evening, Ava was preparing to cook dinner in the kitchen. Professor Jin suddenly put on her coat and took her bag to go out. Ava asked her why she was going out. Professor Jin paused and said, "I'm going to the convenience store to buy something. You go ahead and don't worry about me."

After saying this, he put on his shoes and hurriedly ran out without waiting for Ava's reply.

"Why do I feel... a little strange..." Ava looked at the door that slammed shut and muttered softly: "My mom is such a lazy person. Usually, she always asks me to go out and buy things for her! Why is she so diligent this time? Something is wrong."

Not to mention Ava who was muttering to himself in the kitchen that his mother was so strange, even Professor Jin who hurried out of the house sighed after pressing the elevator button: "Oh, it's so strange! I find it strange myself!"

Forty minutes later, Ava washed his hands and walked to the dining table. He glanced at the watch he had just put there, and muttered while dialing the phone: "Why aren't you back yet?"

"I love you, Only you~" Music suddenly sounded from the sofa. It was Professor Jin's cell phone ringtone.

"ALWAYS" is the first TV drama OST she sang. Since the release of this song, Professor Jin's cell phone ringtone has become this song.

Ava later sang many more OSTs, but Professor Jin's cell phone ringtone has never changed. Perhaps the reason she likes this song, in addition to being sung by her daughter, is that it reminds her of Captain Liu, whom she was so obsessed with at the time.

"You didn't even take your cell phone." Ava hung up the phone and went back into the kitchen.

At the door, Professor Jin was holding a few small boxes in his hands, walking back and forth in circles, mumbling to himself.

"EDNA, this is for you. No matter what, we girls have to... No, no, this is too serious." Professor Jin raised his hand and waved it in front of his face a few times, denying: "The more serious it is, the more embarrassing it will be! This won't work!"

"EDNA, I have something to say. You can listen if you want to, or not. I have to tell you anyway... Oh~" Professor Jin squatted on the ground with a bitter face: "This doesn't seem to be a good idea! It's so difficult~"

"I watched the news a few days ago. The report was about the global aging problem, but I think some professions really can't..." Professor Jin squatted on the ground in a somewhat decadent manner, and just sighed silently: "Oh... I can't say it..."

"Or, why not call your friends in America and ask?" Professor Jin stood up and began to look for her cell phone. After searching through her bag and pockets, she realized that she didn't take her cell phone with her when she went out.

After waiting for another five minutes, Ava came out of the kitchen and went straight to the cloakroom. He took out his coat and put it on while walking. He changed his shoes and kept raising his hand to open the door.

As soon as she opened the door, she saw Professor Jin squatting on the ground two steps away. When she heard the door open, she turned her head and looked at her. Ava paused for a moment, "Mom, what are you doing squatting at the door?"

"I..." Professor Jin was completely stunned, his eyes widened due to the sudden surprise. Although his mind was full of thoughts, it took him several seconds to say, "It's okay."

Professor Jin stood up, turned slightly, put one hand in his pocket without leaving a trace, and patted the bag at his side with the other hand. Before Ava could say anything else, he asked, "Why are you out? Are you going out?"

"My mom hasn't been home for such a long time, and she didn't even take her phone with her. I was just about to go out to look for you." Ava took back one foot that had stepped out of the door, leaned against the door and began to take off his coat: "My mom, come in quickly. It's so cold outside. What are you doing squatting there?"

"Oh, it's nothing. My shoes are just a little uncomfortable. I squatted there to take a look." Professor Jin walked in, quickly changed his shoes and took off his clothes, and changed the subject as he walked in: "It smells so good! What did you do?"

"What's wrong with the shoes? Are they uncomfortable? Did you sprain your ankle?" Ava's attention was diverted. He immediately squatted down and took Professor Jin's shoes in his hands to examine them carefully. "I can't see anything obviously wrong with them."

"Stop looking at it, come back and wash your hands." Professor Jin snatched the shoes and threw them aside: "Why are you looking at them? If they are uncomfortable to wear, just throw them away. What's so good about them?"

Ava: "......." How could I forget that her mother is a rich woman~

In the evening, Ava came out of the bathroom after taking a shower. Professor Jin sat at the coffee table, patted the cushion next to him, and waved at her: "Come and sit down."

Ava turned to look at Professor Jin, paused while wiping his hair, and smiled, "My mother is so beautiful."

Professor Jin was wearing a bathrobe, with her long brown wavy hair casually scattered, and she was sitting lazily on the carpet, leaning against the sofa.

There was soothing piano music playing on the speakers, blending with the sweet scent of flowers in the air. The candle on the coffee table in front of her was emitting a dim light, casting her lazy figure on the floor to one side, making the shadow very long.

Professor Jin raised his hand to lift the end of her hair and winked at her: "When did your mother not look beautiful?"

Every move she makes is full of charm, with her own unique charisma. Under the unique "fan" filter of Ava, her power is even more unstoppable.
