The haunted old house is an hour's drive from Baiyun Mountain, located in a wealthy area in the west of the city at the foot of the mountain. The building is quite old. It is said that it was built by the ancestor of this family, a high-ranking official, when he retired and returned to his hometown. It has experienced the baptism of war and has been inhabited by several generations, with a history of hundreds of years.
Having said that, the appearance of this Chinese-style house does not look very old. In the setting sun, the green tiles and white walls have distinct shades, the painted beams and eaves are clear as if carved, and there are no traces of the years. Only the green jade-like ivy on the wall on the shady side brings a sense of age.
Yun Zhen was holding a compass and calculating inside and outside the house with a solemn expression.
There were some nosy neighbors watching the fun and eating sunflower seeds. Yun Qing grabbed a handful and cracked them more happily than anyone else. The little white rabbit twisted its round little body and came out from his collar to ask for sunflower seeds. Yun Qing stuffed the seeds into its three-lobed mouth and stuffed another one in when he heard it chirping.
More than ten minutes later, Yun Zhen closed the compass.
