Ethan Jiang ran back and forth between the clinic and the payment window with their bank cards. Gabriel Su pushed his grandmother to do various examinations. Although the two did not communicate verbally, just a glance could calm their anxious mood.
When the test results came out, the doctor's face was not very good. Ethan Jiang didn't have the heart to let Gabriel Su come to listen, so he left Gabriel Su in the ward to accompany his grandmother and went to ask for the diagnosis results alone.
The doctor pushed his thick glasses, looked at the CT scan results, sighed softly, then raised his eyelids and told Ethan Jiang solemnly: "The intracranial hemorrhage is quite serious. I suggest you transfer to the Third Hospital. The neurosurgery there is better than ours. We can't handle this kind of situation here. The old man is too old."
Gabriel Su followed Ethan Jiang quietly, leaning against the wall outside the clinic. The pale wall and the cold white light hurt Gabriel Su's eyes. But Gabriel Su didn't dare to blink, for fear that the tears in his eyes would roll down, as if he was doomed to this tragic ending.
Ethan Jiang walked out of the clinic with a heavy face, and was stunned when he saw Gabriel Su leaning against the door. Gabriel Su looked over with red eyes, and Ethan Jiang felt very distressed. Ethan Jiang quickly stepped forward and hugged Gabriel Su, whispering in Gabriel Su's ear: "Don't be afraid, I'm here. Let's go to the Third Hospital."
